Issa Salami Bolanle is a Lecturer in the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Environmental Sciences, University of Ilorin, Nigeria, with an interdisciplinary academic and research background spanning Geoinformatics, urban morphology, environmental management, climate change, remote sensing and spatial analysis.

He holds a B.Sc. in Surveying and Geoinformatics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom; and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Management Tools for Climate Change from IHS Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He is currently completing a Ph.D. in Geoinformatics at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM)
