Surveying & Geo-Informatics

Dr. Babalola is a Lecturer at the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics, Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. He holds B. Tech and M.Tech Degrees in Surveying and Geoinformatics from the Federal University of Technology Yola, Adamawa State now Modibbo Adama University Yola. Babalola holds a PhD in Remote Sensing from the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto. Dr. Babalola is a Registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria and has more than twenty years of experience in teaching, research, and community service. He is the author of more than thirty research papers in reputable Journals. His research interests are in Remote sensing, GIS, Surveying, Waste Management, and Decision Making. He was Acting Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and the Pioneer Head of the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics.
